Resources for Schools: Inter Faith Activity & Ramadan 2021 Guide

There are two new resources available for schools:

Inter Faith Activity  in the UK, by IFN (Inter Faith Network for the UK)

This time rich in faith festivals is a reminder of the diverse nature of the UK today as well as of the importance of faith in the lives of many people and of good inter faith relations.

The Inter Faith Network for the UK has launched a new, free to download, resource for secondary schools to help them teach about inter faith encounter, dialogue and action in the UK. The resource is packed with real life examples and hyperlinks the resource enables teachers to construct a learning journey for their pupils to contribute to their understanding of the place of faith and the importance of cooperation in building a better society for all.

Ramadan Guide 2021, by Tower Hamlets Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE)

This helpful guidance handbook has been developed for teachers, carers and parents, by SACRE,  in partnership with the London Muslim Centre and Tower Hamlets Council of Mosques.

The resource provides a guide to Ramadan, including what a typical day looks like, with advice on fasting for schools, parents and guardians.
