DESCRIPTION:Join us for our next forum meeting that will be looking at ment
 al health and the work that faith groups are doing to support their commun
 ities. Faith groups have long been a source of support for people way befo
 re the pandemic\, but Covid-19 has highlighted just how much work is being
  done to help people that face mental health issues. \nThis support takes 
 place in many different forms from coffee morning sessions to keep people 
 socially connected\, befriending calls to combat loneliness and isolation 
 and more structured activities such support groups for people with depress
 ion and bereavement support.\nThis forum meeting will consider: \n\n\n 	Ho
 w we can highlight the tremendous work that faith groups in the borough ha
 ve been doing\, particularly during the pandemic. \n 	How faith groups wil
 l have a big part to play as we emerge from the latest lockdown into the 
 ‘new normal’.\n 	How statutory services can find out about the unique 
 role faith groups play for people with mental health issues. \n\nPanellist

 Programme\, East London NHS Foundation Trust\nMore tbc\nThe meeting will a
 lso have an update on the work of THIFF from Revd Alan Green\, chair of TH
 IFF and an update on hate crime statistics from Met Police\, along with th
 e opportunity for attendees to share details of their work\, projects or e
 vents. \nCome along and join the discussion and share your experiences\, t
 houghts and ideas.
