Following on from our previous post about #TowerHamletsRemembers, here is a selection of how faith groups around the borough marked the pandemic.
Ashaadibi Centre
Young Deputy Mayor Ahmed Duale & Ashaadibi Centre created a video message, commending communities in the borough for the relisience and strength throughout the pandemic. Click the image to watch the video.
Metropolitan Community Church
The church marked the pandemic by planting lavendar, to signify peace and harmony.
St John on Bethnal Green
St John on Bethnal Green marked the pandemic in a special service that incoporated reflections on the effect of the pandemic, those lost and to acknowldge the care provided by people. The service also a served as a dedication festival – celebrating 193 years. Click here for the video.
