THIFF, through the Tower Hamlets Equalities Hub, is contributing to a national emergency resilience toolkit to help community and faith settings prepare for local emergencies.
Emergency readiness matters. Faith leaders can ensure their communities are supported, safe, and included in local planning—so when a crisis hits, everyone knows what to do and no one is left unheard.
We’re looking for:
- Representatives from six local faith organisations to review the draft toolkit.
- Case studies from faith settings that have responded to emergencies before to help inform practical guidance.
No prior experience is needed to take part!
Step 1 – Review at your own pace
- Receive the draft toolkit and guidance on what to look out for.
- Share your comments via email by 19 March 2026.
Step 2 – Join the discussion
- Combine feedback with fellow reviewers in a session led by the THIFF team.
- Scheduled for 1pm, Wednesday 23 March 2026, with lunch provided.
As a thank you, participants will receive lunch and a £25 Amazon voucher.
