Join us for our next online forum meeting that is focusing on grief and bereavement.
The death of a loved one is one of the most difficult emotional experiences faced in life. At times these emotions can be overwhelming and although a natural response to the death of a loved one, some people may need extra support to cope.
The pandemic has intensified the grief process – many people feel extra emotions, such as anger or guilt that they could not be with loved ones at the point of end of life, and many could not attend funerals due to Covid-19 restrictions.
- Where can local people access support for bereavement and grief?
- How can we support each other as a community?
- What are faith groups doing to support those that are bereaved?
- How can we create a means of remembrance for those lost?
